Honey

Bellevue
Washington

What’s all the buzz about? Well, this fresh addition to the downtown dining scene is taking patrons to new heights. Nested at the top of a highrise, the 21,000 sq. ft. restaurant takes its inspiration from nature’s most efficient pollinators: bees. The perfect geometry of honeycomb is reinterpreted in sculptural forms, from custom light fixtures to metal privacy panels. Seating and lounge areas break up the massive space with smaller hubs of activity, private dining, and chefs tables. But at the end of the day, it’s all about the views: floor to ceiling windows frame Mt. Rainier, the sunset over the Olympics, and give diners a bees-eye view of downtown Seattle.
